The Risk Management Analytics Sales Specialist actively promotes MSCI's suite of risk analytics products (including RiskManager and BarraOne) to asset manager clients and prospects in Southern Europe (with main focus on France, Switzerland and Italy).

Based in Paris, part of a regional team located in Europe, Middle East and Africa, the MSCI Analytics Sales Professional will be responsible for new business development within the client segment of Asset Management for all Risk Management Analytics products including RiskManager and BarraOne.

Barra portfolio risk and performance analytics covers global equity and fixed income markets, RiskMetrics provides market and credit risk analytics.

The focus will be on generating business in Southern Europe (with main focus on France, Switzerland and Italy).

The role is highly visible one working in a targeted, sales driven environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the whole sales cycle - develop new business opportunities (client visits, prospecting, cold calling, floor walks etc), creation and timely execution of pipeline, senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, sales closing, product implementation and training, maintain existing client relationships and accountsAchieve targeted revenue goals within the respective sales territory (France, Switzerland and Italy)Work closely with other functions (client service, legal, contracts, billing, etc) to ensure that all clients requests / inquiries are managed appropriatelyProactively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product developmentProvide feedback from clients to Marketing, Sales, Research and Product Development groupsAttend relevant industry events

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 4 years relevant sales experience within the investment industry working in a targeted revenue environmentProven track record in developing new business and growing established revenue streamsThorough understanding of the Investment Management Process, the Asset Management segment and the global financial markets (equity, fixed income, alternatives)Strong financial academic backgroundCFA, MBA, MFE, or Masters Degree preferredFluency in French and EnglishStrong consultative sales and closing skillsGood analytical and quantitative skills – experience in Financial Risk Management is a plusExcellent presentation and communication skillsA self starter and highly motivated; ability to work individually and within a team
