1.Description of the department

Middle Office Debt Funds is part of Operations Department (143 staff in AXA Real Estate). One person is in charge of this activity. Back up and coverage has been organised up to now within Operations Department. With the growing activity, the launching of a new fund (CRE Senior Loans) and the fact that the business is now a regulated one, it is becoming more problematic. The intern will help to organise the backup.

2.Reporting to the Middle Office Debt Funds Administrator, your main responsibilities will be the following:

Transactions Settlement

• Compliance controls and checks

• Settlement reconciliations and follow-up of the treasury operations

• Coordinate with Counterparties, Agents

Transactions Management

• Monitor interest/amortization/prepayment

• Management of hedging operations and margin calls

• Cash accounts management

Reporting

• Follow-up of investments portfolio

• Assist in collecting information updates on the transactions and analyse outcoming data

• Contribute to the production of reporting to the client

Internal & External Service Providers

• Coordinate with other AXA Real Estate teams and External teams to organise the accounting, cash, reporting and auditing procedures for the Funds

Fund Management Tool

• Follow-up new fund management tool implementation (Sophis), and participate to the initial upload (historical data / tool parameters)

3.What sort of profile are we looking for?

• Currently undertaking an undergraduate or masters degree with a finance, investment management and/or real estate focus, or an alternative degree with a strong interest in these fields

• Organisational skills, rigorous. Able to multi-tasks

• Diligent and a committed team player

• A very good level in English and French. Applications from international students are welcome. An additional European language is also of advantage

• Ability to evolve and communicate in an international environment

• Experience or keen interest in real estate (players, product and markets)
